Growing up in Jaipur, surrounded by gemstones and workshops, I watched jewelry get made before I ever thought to ask for it ready-made.
So when something caught my eye that wasn't quite right, I'd get it made instead. A stone in a different setting. A shape nobody else had. Jewelry that looked like it belonged to me, specifically.
